Mac Henry

He's here, healthy and so handsome! We are all completely smitten. Ryan and Alison welcomed their perfect baby boy into the world and we all feel so blessed. Charlotte and Hazel are OBSESSED. I might be too... Jake hasn't got to hold his nephew yet due to a little cold and an out of town trip but he has adored him from the minute he laid eyes on him, too. Such a beautiful, tiny dude. Welcome Mac!! We love you so much and are thrilled that we get to watch you grow. Your parents are so happy and so, so proud... excellent choice you made, Buddy. I'm sure you know but you've also got two incredible Guardian Angel Gramma's... we all wish they were here with us to hold you and dote on you the way only Gramma's can but I personally take comfort in knowing they already have. Lots of love baby boy.

Punkin' Head

This little darling still cries every time I drop her off at preschool; which for now is only on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I've been assured that she calms down quickly and enjoys the rest of the day but to say it doesn't pull on the ol' heartstrings would be a lie. Her teachers have also told me that she's an excellent little communicator and one of the only students that enjoys learning to write her name. I find pages of "H"s all around the house these days.Love you, Pumpkin! Keep on shinin' and maybe give me a break one of these mornings at drop off.

Big but little

Sometimes my Birdie girl seems so big. So independent. So nurturing. So grown up-ish that I especially love pictures like these that totally capture the 5-ness of her. Just 5 years. Still brand new. I sure do love this little girl.

Staying updated

I recently got the chance to volunteer to join Charlotte's Kindergarten class for a field trip. It was pretty fun but my favorite part of the day was signing her out of school when we got back and lady dating lunch at Harry's and a caramel apple at Goodies before walking back to school. It was seriously the best!
Sweet Cheeks only has preschool on Tuesdays and Thursdays so she's settled right into being my errands buddy. We TCB.
She also gets to spend more time with adventuring around the city or chilling at home with DunTaugh.

I took this at a property we showed in Kuna.
I dunna dink all the taffine!!
Another pic from our lunch date. Charlotte did all the ordering and surprised me with a Sprite.
We made those.
A day Birdie had off from school. It was nice having her home!!

Pouting because it was time to wash it off.
