Newborn No More

Charlotte is 3 months old!!! (yesterday) This means that she has officially graduated from a newborn status to infant. In celebration of this milestone she decided to outgrow most of her newborn clothing but also decided to not quite fit the 0-3months clothes either. This leaves us in an awkward little inbetwen phase with about 2 outfits that actually fit : ) Not to worry.. I am sure that in a blink of an eye she will stretch again. We are so blessed to have sweet little Charly! It is amazing to watch her change all the time. She is a super smily little girl that loves to makes all sorts of crazy noises and funny faces : 0 She has great control of her noggin' and can roll over when she wants to... otherwise she just kicks and whines about being on her tummy. I love kissing her ever chubbining cheeks and she loves her Mama's kisses : * Mwa!

He had his cake and aced his test too

Jake has been working towards his AASI level 3 cert this winter and has been putting a tremendous amount of time and energy into this goal. Level 3 is the highest certification that can be attained with AASI (The American Association of Snowboard Instructors) and Jake got it!! He is now part of a very elite group of instructors. His riding test was at Brundage this weekend (our anniversary weekend) and it was so great because we got to spend it together in McCall. Jake spent his days testing on the mountain while Charlotte and I relaxed at the cabin. Our anniversary dinner was Totinos pizza and a slice of our wedding cake that we had been saving for the occasion. What the frozen pizza lacked in classiness it made up for in tastiness ; ) And the cake was as great as it was a year earlier... so great in fact I have had a slice everyday since! It was a fantastic weekend and I am so proud of my hubby!

One year ago today...

*I woke with butterflies in my stomache that stayed there all day
* I giggled excitedly with four fabulous women
* I received the worst possible up-do
*Four fabulous women fixed my horrible hair and helped beautify me
*I wore a white dress and blue shoes
* My dad walked me down the aisle
*Butterflies tickled my tummy
*Jake looked so handsome!
* I looked into his eyes, smiled and said "I do." Forever I will.
* We ate, we drank, we married
* I went from being a bride to being a wife
* We danced, we laughed, we celebrated eachother
*Little Charlotte was just a sparkle in our eyes ; )
* A dream came true!

Happy Anniversary to Us!!!
I love you Husband, Hubby, Hubs, Hubbert!
Your wife, wifey, wiff,

Feelin' Springy

I want to ride my bicycle, I want to ride my bike...I want to ride my bicycle, I want to ride it where I liiiike : )

On a beautiul Boise day we decided to bring Charlotte on her first bike ride. We rode to the greenbelt and to Julia Davis Park. She slept the whole time but it was such a great day spent together! I captured a couple of action shots : )

Today is the first day of Spring and I have never been happier to see the seasons change! Having a sweet little preemie in the heart of cold season meant being cooped up to wait it out...ugh! We have started getting Charly out to see the world and it feels so good! I love being able to run simple little errands with her. Who would have ever thought that a trip to the grocery store would feel like a luxury?! We have also re-entered the world of dining out... hoo-ray : ) Here is a pic of Charlotte looking over the options at one of Mommy's favorite restaurants.

Patty Cake, Patty Cake

Happy St. Patrick's Day! Jake and I are both cultural mutts so lil' miss Charlotte has a lil' bit of everything. Scottish, Sweedish, German, Native American and you can bet your Blarney more than a wee bit o' Irish : )

A best friend is like a four leaf clover; hard to find and lucky to have.

I am so lucky to have married my best friend! Mwa* Babe

May the road rise up to meet you.May the wind be always at your back.May the sun shine warm upon your face, the rains fall soft upon your fields and until we meet again.

More fun with crafts

This is officially my favorite new craft! It is quick and easy (I am refraining from a ''like yo mama" joke.) and it always turns out super cute! I am having fun personalizing Charlotte's onesies and am about to turn to the big kids clothes : ) Jakey, hide your t-shirts...

Does this flower make my head look small?

Alright... this was my first attempt at the headband. I will be trying again with a smaller flower but we think that this look is so Sarah Jessica Parker ; )

Movin' and Groovin'

Here is a little video clip of our girl partyin : ) She is a serious wiggle worm and loves to kick her legs so I made her a little ankle rattle using a miniature Easter egg, a bell and some scrap fabric.. she is easy to please! This is the cute that melts my heart! Enjoy...
